First frame off CNC router

The first frame was cut out today!

We spent a few hours programming the Biesseworks software so that the offsets could be entered for the frame, and the machine did the rest. The complete frame 5 was cut, notches and all, in about 2 minutes! And because it was a router bit that did the cutting, the edges are sharp and burr free.

    Hi Chris,

I know very little about programming or utilising these machines and processes. For an amateur like myself would I find it difficult or would I, with the permission of the designer, be able to have this done by a professional?

Also is it possible for to you email me with the rough cost of materials and cutting. I do not want to offend and hope this line of questioning is not out of line. But the more information the better placed I will be 🙂

Also I will be in Queensland in the coming months and would love to drop in.

    Regards,

    Mark
